Was skeptical at first, but it works
A few months ago our Maine Coon started what we like to call the "litter box dance" where she would go in and out every few minutes, strain to urinate, and sometimes yowl in pain. When we noticed a bit of blood in her urine, we immediately took her to the vet who confirmed it was in fact a UTI. After multiple vet visits, two rounds of antibiotics, a breakout in hives, and $800 in bills she was UTI free. Unfortunately, the litter box dance started again a month later and this time I did NOT want to expose her to the additional stress of more tests and powerful antibiotics, so I went out on a limb and ordered UTI Free from PetAlive after reading the positive reviews. I'll spare you the details since my kitty was enduring much the same "no-pee" "red-pee" issues as the rest in these reviews. Just wanted to provide a quick tip.While no one actually mentions this on any of the websites, it is WORLDS easier to dose your kitties if you dissolve the required dosage in a bit of water first instead of trying to get them to keep the little pellets in their mouths. Plus, you don't have to feed them all the time (every 30 minutes? come on people... when your animals are in pain they aren't typically interested in eating - well not all of them anyway. Works Great
Bought this product after doing research on the internet for UTI in male cats. My cat Mickey got sick and after spending four days in the hospital and much money later he came home still feeling uncomfortable and with a 15% chance of getting re-infected. So I bought this product, followed instructions, and within 24 hours, no more discomfort. Now I give him a small amount every other day. It's a little challenging to give since the product is little tiny white granules. But I put a little on a small spoon, wrestle Mickey and pop open his mouth, pour in the granules. They melt right away and have no taste. He's used to taking it now. I recommend this very much. I also recommend a little, very small amount of Concentrated Cranberry Juice mixed into there wet food. You can buy it at healthfood stores. Just alittle for a couple of days helps clear it up too. Just like in people. But like everything before you act, do your homework first, consult your vet just incase.

Works for my dog
I've been having quite a time with recurring UTI's with my mini rat terrier. poor fella has had 3 over the course of a year. Truly astronomical vet bills, stained carpets and I know the little guy must be hurting pretty bad. Then I found UTI-Free by PetAlive. I ordered a bottle and set-up for the recurring delivery to save money. I figure if the stuff works, it's well worth the money spent. Note: we also changed his food to a brand that has no corn in it which was a recommendation to us by a dog trainer we used. We also started adding about a few tablespoons of warm water to the kibble to make a gravy. Don't know if any of this has helped too. We sprinkle a little bit of the UTI-Free on his food each day and have not had a UTI recurrence yet. Plus the 1st bottle lasted 2 months, so we slowed delivery down from 1 to 2 months. I highly reommend after 2 month's daily use.

Worked well on my 13yr old cat.
I have a 13yr old tiger stripe that has had a nasty UTI. He's had it for over 2 months, and has just come off an ineffective antibiotic/painkiller regiment. As a last ditch effort I tried the NaturVet Cranberry extract to help with his UTI. When that didn't seem to phase it either I looked up anything else I could try before another $200 set of antibiotics that might not work. I figured if the UTI-Free might work, I could keep giving him the maintenance dosage of the cranberry extract to keep the UTI from coming back.The UTI-Free is impossible to give to my cat like they recommend.The only way to give it was to mix it in with some canned cat food. I gave him a little more than the instructions stated since he didn't seem to care for the taste, and wouldn't eat the food in one sitting and would spread it out. Within 3 days he was able to urinate without crying out, and now after a week, he has normal flow. Although I've gone through the bottle at a faster rate than I'd like...

Happy Cat Again :)
My cat was not urinating very well and would squat in the corner in a strange way and wasn't acting normally. A few days after using Pet Alive for UTI's and she is back to normal. It is easy to use. I put a bit if the granules in my palm and mix it in her canned food on her plate. She gobbles it right up not knowing anything is in it. The service was fast and easy. a must for cat UTI
I found this online and ordered for my poor cat that was suffering from unexplained UTI. I got it very quickly and since I've used it she doesn't have them anymore. Knock on wood!!!I feel it helped with her suffering and the pain. I would give her a tiny teaspoon of a good wet cat food and mix the pellets right in. She always downs it, no problem.I recently stopped using it as she has been better for 3 months. I do always keep a bottle of this handy just in case.

It seems to be working
My cat was had blood in urine. The vet bill was expensive and they gave him antibiotics. He was still bleeding. They wanted me to spend a couple hundred more dollars just for tests. Instead, I ordered this stuff. It's easier to give the cat the tiny little grains, than a pill or a medicine dropper. And he seems to be doing better, and he gained his lost weight back and seems normal. So, I'm glad I discovered this homeopathic remedy. The vendor sent the medicine as soon as I ordered it. LIFE Saver!!! For my cat & me!
First off, if you're on this page, order this product!! My male cat came down with a blockage. I mean, full out blocked. ER trip to the vet = Hundreds...Hundreds of dollars. The vet tells me, they can A) preform surgery and see "if" that will help as well as bankrupt me or B) he must stay on a Rx food issued only from them for the rest of his life. Worked for us!!!
We tried this route as we had a hard time curing my dogs UTI with antibiotics last time (28 days and Clavamox for a dog her size was $8.00/day) She was doing better in 72 hours, and I am keeping her on a maintenance dose. I did miss one day of using it and she started getting uncomfortable again, so I won't miss again. Very happy with the product.

My five cats are active again
I have a family of felines - Mommy Kitty, her girls Pearl and Amber and boys Jewel and Blacqui. Kitty's four litters were very active indoor cats until I noticed all of them were feeling sick, to the point of throwing up. Weeks later, Amber started showing signs of urinary tract infection. 14 years old and still tick'n!
As a Vet Tech with 20 years or so under my belt, I have accumulated many "needy" critters. My all-time favorite is a 14 year old orange domestic longhair male kitty named Currituck. Tucker always showed many symptoms of urinary tract problems and blocked up more than once-barely living through one episode. Crystals in his urine have always been an issue, as well as the accompanying infections and discomfort. Prescription foods soon became too expensive with my large crew-so I began to "cook" for him. Since the prescription foods all have a urinary acidifier in them, I ordered NaturVet Cranberry Relief and hoped for the best. Godsend for UTI-prone cats
I have two cats, one male and one female, and they are both prone to UTI - whenever they are stressed slightest bit, they'll have an episode. My vet recommended that I add supplements to their regular diet to keep this from happening too often. I did some searches, this seemed easiest (and also the cheapest) way to administer the supplements. I know cranberries are good for humans too, so I figured why not. At first I was afraid they wouldn't eat their wet food because of the cranberry odor(and yes they are picky about their food) but to my amazement, neither of them seem to care and gobbled it down. Granted, I added the powder into Fancy Feast (not the best food around, but it's by far their favorite wet food... go figure) so maybe that helped. I haven't yet tried adding the powder into their "regular" wet food (Natural Balance) which they don't like as much but is more nutritious.
